Project Spotlight: The Murphy Residence — Golf Course Living with a Resort Feel

At The Murphy Project, Blade Cutters Landscaping reimagined everyday living into a year-round resort escape.

Set along the pristine fairways of White Hawk golf course, this backyard sanctuary brings together sophisticated materials, master craftsmanship, and a touch of indulgence designed for both relaxation and entertaining.

Project Highlights:

Expansive Unilock Patio: Crafted with premium Unilock pavers, accented by authentic natural clay brick, creating a timeless blend of texture and warmth beneath every step.
Grand U-Cara Fireplace Pavilion: A massive Unilock U-Cara fireplace anchors the space under a stunning roofed pavilion — perfect for cozy evenings, social gatherings, or a glass of wine after the back nine.
Poolside Paradise: In partnership with our friends at Oasis Pools, the crystal-clear pool becomes the centerpiece of this resort-style retreat, balancing tranquility with show-stopping design.
Hot Tub Haven: Just steps away, the elevated spa area was designed to scream relaxation — surrounded by lush plantings and ambient lighting that extend its use well beyond summer.

From the engineered hardscape foundation to the finishing details of light, line, and layout, the Murphy Project captures the art of resort-style living without leaving home. It’s the perfect balance of golf course serenity and staycation luxury — built to be enjoyed every season of the year.

Blade Cutters did an outstanding job on our landscaping! The entire property looks absolutely beautiful, and the attention to detail really shows. They were professional, reliable, and easy to work with from start to finish. The crew showed up when they said they would, worked hard, and left everything looking clean and polished. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Blade Cutters to anyone looking for quality landscaping work. Thanks again for making our yard look amazing!

I LOVE THE WAY THEY MOW MY LAWN!!

Hired Kevin and Blade Cutters to do an extensive and complicated project around our new in-ground pool. The project had many challenges including various grade challenges, overall budget and other contractor timelines. Kevin worked with me on numerous design changes prior to and during the project. His crew, led by Alfredo, were absolutely amazing! These guys work their tails off and truly care about their workmanship, taking pride in everything they do. It's the little things I and my neighbors appreciated like NEVER leaving a mess on the street or sidewalk like other Contractors had. Finding a contractor these days...

Blade Cutters helped us create an attractive no-mow landscape comprised of native prairie plants consistent with our surroundings. They surpassed expectations. Owner Kevin was responsive and eager to please. Alex and his crew’s attention to detail and quality craftsmanship is greatly appreciated. They under promised and over- delivered. Thank you Blade Cutters!!

Amazing landscape work and design. Gayle is extremely helpful and will guide you along through the entire process. Will use them again and 100% recommend!. They won't oversell the work you are looking for or try to get you to purchase things you don't need.

After speaking with the owner about some problems we had going on in our yard, he was confident that his team could handle the job. The Blade Cutter crew was on time, worked hard, and left our yard looking like it belonged on the cover of a gardening magazine! Thank you, Kevin, you handle your business with integrity and it shows!
